What is an automatic transfer switch?
It is a switch that moves your home or business to generator power by itself when the power goes out, and back again when the power returns.
Can I just plug a generator into my house?
No. Connecting a generator without a proper transfer switch is dangerous for you and for utility workers. It must be installed by a licensed electrician.
Do I need a permit?
Yes. Connecting a generator and transfer switch needs an ESA permit. We take care of it for you.
